A Cumulative List of Marijuana Growing Tips
I have compiled a number of marijuana growing tips, bits of
information that will be sure to improve the quality, yield &
health of your marijuana plants. To all of you marijuana connoisseurs
out there, these marijuana growing tips listed below will have you
harvesting better plants than ever before.
Quality Soil Wins the Race:
While there’s a variety of soil contents that are great for
growing marijuana published throughout the Internet, good ‘ole
Miracle-Grow potting soil will work just fine. The desired pH balance
of the soil is 6.5
Keep The Bugs Away: Quite
simply, cigarette rolling tobacco steeped into water for a few days is
a powerful anti-mite and bug spray that will keep the little buggers
off of your plants. Only spray it, though, if mites are visible on your
marijuana plant.
Never Overwater: Over-watering
your cannabis plants is like placing your most beloved pet into a sink
and drowning it. Except, in a much less tragic way(for most people). If
you’re ever unsure, sticking your finger a few inches into the
soil and determining whether or not it is moist is one of the best ways
to know if a thorough watering is needed.
Flower Cycle: To properly
initiate your plant’s flowering cycle in an indoor grow, start
giving it 12 hours of light and 12 hours of absolutely no light once it
has grown to about half the size you would like it too(or when it
finally has a good root structure).
Avoid Plant Stresses and Problems:
The best marijuana grow tip I can give you is to avoid pitfalls
wherever possible. Excessive humidity, light leaks & heat stress
are three of the biggest problems that even advanced growers fall into.
Keep the humidity within your grow area less than 50%, make sure your
grow area is sealed off and surrounded by aluminum foil or reflective
silver to ensure there are no light leaks and make sure the temperature
within your grow area is not too excessive.
Harvest On Time: One of the
other best marijuana growing tips you can pay heed too is to harvest at
the appropriate time, otherwise all of your work would be in vain. Use
a microscope to look at your plant’s trichomes. A good time to
harvest is when you notice that about 25% of the trichomes have turned
amber.
Cure Marijuana After Harvest:
To get the maximum taste, potency and looks out of your cannabis, many
connoisseurs keep their buds in air-tight mason jars after
they’ve pruned and dried out the buds. It’s difficult to
wait, I know, but buds that are properly cured for at least a few weeks
really do make that much of a difference in quality.
