Not All Amsterdam Weed Grown with Love; One Must Know Where to Look
Amsterdam
weed is about as synonymous to Amsterdam as the Eiffel Tower is to
Paris. Being hailed as the mecca for all things marijuana, Amsterdam is
viewed as pot heaven and for very good reason. Amsterdam weed is
assumed to be some of the best in the World. After all, a town that
attracts tourists with soft drug use has to have exceptional marijuana,
right? While one would think so, my personal experience has proved to
be quite the contrary. That, while there are quite a few coffeeshops in
Amsterdam that sell great marijuana, exceptional weed is actually hard
to find within the city.
A person knows when they smoke great
marijuana. It tastes, smells & smokes great. Right when it hits
you, you know. And while a lot of Amsterdam marijuana looks and may
even smell like great marijuana, it a lot of it is actually dry,
unproperly cured & usually harvested a little too early. It is
apparent that much of it isn’t grown with love.
It’s grown for profit and it shows.
Now don’t get me wrong.
Amsterdam coffee shops like Barney’s, De Dampkring &
Grey Area all sell homegrown, beautiful strains. But more and more
frequently, coffee shops like The Bulldog and many others throughout
the city are selling what would normally be referred to as only
mediocre chronic, nothing truly special and certainly not special
enough for the prices they charge for it. Just like locating anything,
though, finding the greatest Amsterdam weed only takes a little
planning and research. The good Amsterdam weed is definitely there, you
just have to know where to look.
